Hi, I’m A.M. Elizabeth Kay, an African American audiobook narrator who believes every story deserves to be felt—not just heard. My warm, alto, feminine voice brings depth, emotion, and connection to the characters and worlds I help bring to life.
Before becoming a narrator, I spent more than 20 years working in film and animation post-production. That experience taught me the importance of timing, pacing, and the small details that make storytelling come alive. I bring that same attention and care to every audiobook I record.
I especially love narrating romance in all its forms, as well as action-adventure stories. I enjoy exploring the emotions, relationships, and moments of transformation that make these stories so memorable. I am also interested in non-fiction, especially self-help focused.
I’m honored to collaborate with authors and publishers who trust me with their words. I bring professionalism, creativity, and care to every project, recording from my broadcast-quality home studio equipped with a double-walled VocalBooth.com booth, Neumann TLM 102, RØDE NT1 5th Gen, Sennheiser 416, and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface.
Based in Northern California, I’m proud to be a member of SAG-AFTRA, APA, and PANA. When I’m not narrating, you’ll find me sewing, enjoying 90’s R&B, connecting with fellow creatives, and always looking for the next adventure waiting to be told.
